2023-01-06 15:45:12 +0000 UTCI think most quirks can be harmful to the user and have some con to using them crazily. Twice has doubled others before like Dabi back in season 2 (he said he would never double himself because of personal reasons). Endeavor and Shoto can overheat and burn themselves as well. Endeavor talked about overheating being a problem when facing the Nomu at the end of season 4. I do not think we have seen Shoto overheat, but we have seen him freeze up (when fighting Midoriya). He refused to use his fire and only his ice powers in the tourney and his body was getting frost bite. That is the reason Endeavor wanted a hybrid (fire and ice) like Shoto so bad. Shoto's sides cancel out the cons of each other. If he gets hot use ice if he gets cold use fire. Bakugo quirk comes from his sweat being explosive, so in the winter he needs to warm up first and I assume he needs to stay hydrated for long battles. Also making massive explosions injurers his arms because they blow up almost on his hand. Similar to Midoriya he cannot use 100% of his power as well.
