If you re-watch episode 7, you'll hear the line the Ripley gave saying that the plan was that she gets guns for the people while Orthax gets all the souls killed by the guns. So when Percy is shot at the end, the gun drops in front of him and glows. They basically told us this was coming, just not when.

I love how they did meteor swarm a 9th level spell. that was a hole, to space, and those were meteors, really cool visual.

Btw Vax would've totally destroyed her if Orthax hadn't key'd her into where Vax was going to be. You can hear him growl at her when she shoots Vax.
He did that with Percy too, when he ran up behind her with the gunpowder... like eyes in the back.

In D&D Lore:
Dragons who are willing to not be represented by their scales for power and everlasting life can go through a ritual to turn them into a DracoLich. Just like normal Liches, they are undead, and if killed will simply be brought back to life thanks to their phylactery (an item they made that stores their soul).
However, unlike normal liches, dracoliches don't need an object, they just jump into the nearest dead dragon if one comes by. Raishan jumped into Thordak when Keylith killed her. Very smart. Now, she lives forever and has no disease.
The god of evil dragons, Tiamat, won't be happy with it, though... so if she does fully die... Tiamat lives in hell, and will probably welcome her with an ass whooping.
