It's crazy getting to see them experience this all for the first time. Keep in mind all this came LONG before Mandalorian was even a pipe-dream. The reintroduction of Maul, the Darksaber, Bo-Katan (voiced by Katee Sackoff here AND live action in Mando), as well as the fateful meeting of Jon Favreau (voicing Pre Viszla here) that led to the friendship between him and Dave Filoni which in turn led to their shared dream to bring Mandalorian to life, it's so great. This little "kid's cartoon" was SOOOO much better than it had any right to be. Wait til you see the rest of CW and not to mention Rebels which only further develops the SW universe prior to the recent shows and films. (by films I mean Rogue One and not the sequels which have no purpose even existing lol)

2024-03-05 02:35:30 +0000 UTCI love the irony of Maul and Vizla having this fight to the death with that massive portrait of Satine in the background. The tactic Maul used has actually been used by many leaders throughout history or some variation of it. This was actually a very political episode. Kudos to the creators for squeezing this all in a 22 minute.
