I could write pages about it, but as a person with my own disabilities, my excessive analysis would boil down to: well done. Seriously, this is why I'm happy to support you. There are some aspects of your reactions that don't always align with my personal values or tastes, but I love your senses of humor, I love the honesty of your reactions (for both the good parts and the not-so-good), I love the joy you always find in everything you watch, and above all else, I love that your hearts always seem to be in the right place. As I've said before, this is why Tony Gilroy was eager to chat with you. You are the audience that creative people want. :-)

It's a dangerous world to hate on someone for having a different view, if that view does not harm others. I'm not happy with a lot of what the live action did, but I'm not going to hate. I have read Kyoshi's books, watched the creators' commentaries on every episode available, watched ALL the behind- the- scenes and extras, and even used this series to teach my students. (I really want to explain Zuko's mom to you!) However, your perspectives on the live action differ from mine, and I respect that. It actually helps me like the live action a bit more than I did because you bring up points a purist like myself would not have been able to see otherwise.
