Going through and re-watching this again. Glad people are still checking it out. It was one of the most beautiful and well told stories I've seen in years. This episode in particular was absolute poetry with all it's symbolism and parallels.

2024-06-23 09:45:49 +0000 UTCAlso I’ve been thinking that maybe Mizu’s birth father is someone of high importance back wherever he’s from and maybe she no matter the circumstances of her coming into being is his first born thus entitled to whatever position, assets and property he holds. Maybe someone’s trying to stop her from claiming it because why else put a bounty on her from the jump.

2024-03-29 18:21:51 +0000 UTCWhen Mizu’s mom is like what woman doesn’t want a man to take care of her my immediate thought was one that has had it drilled into her that she has to be a man and then have the nerve to say we need the money when talking about selling herself I was like and whose fault is that? I swear the mom should have married herself off instead of having Mizu do it. Also horses don’t just kick with authority they bite with it as well.

The way they weaved the two stories of the past and present together along with the beautiful stage performance was incredible. Not to mention how poetic it was that during that play they depicted Mizu at times as both the Ronin AND the bride. Beautiful storytelling.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't want to watch this initially but I watched the first episode with your reaction and I was hooked haha I watched all 4 in one sitting. Waiting on this one after that cliffhanger was pain ful haha
