That’s interesting because it’s never even crossed my mind that he was going back for Leslie, she was the one who he was having a fun little moment with earlier in the episode when they were pretending to be zoning board members, and we’ve seen in other episodes he has some sort of soft side or fondness for her for whatever reason

2026-02-03 02:19:28 +0000 UTCfor some reason this very small moment caught my attention when Mark and Leslie are at the bar and Mark is dropping some lore about his college days, he takes a considerable pause, to which Leslie inquires "...yes?" I like to think that this pause and the "yes" were intentional in the script and serve a very real purpose -- I see it as Mark thinking back to being young and optimistic about government work, but at this point, after so many years of discouragement and being beaten down -- he has to take a second to think about whether he'd sound silly or ridiculous. perhaps he even actually forgot his own dream for a second and had to take a second to think

2026-02-01 02:33:40 +0000 UTCI always appreciated the small moment of Ann telling Mark off despite her being mad at Andy like yeah, Andy is a big scumbag this season, but Ann recognizes that the way out of a toxic relationship isn't just sneaking out the back door with someone "better", and instead decides to properly end the relationship. a partner's bad behavior shouldn't dictate your own Mark tbh does come across as the "he hurt you again, didn't he queen?" guy in this scene 😂 although his initial curiosity and skepticism about their relationship is valid

Unfortunately, I think he is slimy and that makes me feel bad for Leslie. I think he was hitting on Ann there. I also think that when we went back to the banquet last episode he was looking for Ann, who was last there with Leslie. Maybe I am wrong, but that's how it came across to me. Great reactions this season. Very excited to see you continue as the show evolves. Favorite Andy band name? Mine might be Nothing Rhymes with Blorange.
