2024-01-25 12:29:07 +0000 UTCOne of my favourite things about Made in Abyss is all the visual moments which go unspoken - a really nice one in this episode is how the curtain to Nanachi’s bedroom is draped in the same way as Mitty’s mouth… and then her entire house looks like Mitty - the stairs are like her tongue, there is one window on the left which looks like her open eye and one window on the other side which looks partially closed/collapsed like mitty’s other eye. Lots more of that kind of storytelling to come in the film and S2 (especially).
