Good call on pointing out that Frieren is not a genius, just someone who has worked hard for a thousand years. As you now know, from episode 10, she's just been flying under the radar.

One is something along the lines of "Frieren goes to a funeral", referring to Himmel's funeral at the start. The second is "Frieren the Slayer", which is revealed in this episode.

Which is great because it means there is still 20 episodes of this stuff for you to go through. But yeah, this is a new side to Frieren I think. That delightful smirk as she talks about how she hates fighting powerful opponents, but clearly there is excitement there. And Fern and Starks assassination mission turned rescue mission. Very excited for you two to see more of this arc.
