Sorry for the Delay
Added 2021-08-21 14:49:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I know it's been a few days now without doodles. I'm really sorry. I wanted to make sure to check in with you all though 'cause I don't want to leave you in limbo for a long time or anything.
Without going into too many details (because this is honestly tough for me to talk about) but I'm having a bit of a mental health crisis. I've never experienced depression this bad before so I am admittedly at a little bit of a loss for how to deal with it and it's made drawing a bit difficult. Please do not worry though, I am taking the steps to deal with it. I have therapy scheduled, I have a doctor's appointment scheduled to discuss antidepressants. Hoping to get things going in the right direction next week.
I am planning to try my best to get some doodles done this weekend. Really hoping to do well for the remainder of August. As of right now I am tentatively considering taking September off but I really don't want to. I will try to avoid this at all costs but just know that if it comes to that, I will give you ample warning over the next week and I will pause billing before September 1st. You won't need to do anything with your pledges (unless you want to drop them of course. I will fully understand).
For everyone with commission reward slots for September, don't worry you can still keep your slots! If I take September off, we'll skip the month of course but you won't lose your slots for October. I'll also be reaching out to you individually to discuss the situation.
Thank you so much for your support, patience and understanding. I really hate the feeling that I might be letting y'all down right now even though many of you have told me that you understand. I really appreciate that. This is a weird situation for me as I don't usually struggle like this, I'm really hoping things will be back to normal soon. Thank you all so much.
