Moonshadow and Wallflower Sketches
Added 2015-05-05 18:40:55 +0000 UTCI'm working a little bit on the Willem book Kickstarter today. One of the the first steps to setting up the campaign is to make an image for the project. I decided I'd do a five part split screen with the main characters of Willem by taking some screen shots of the comic pages. Sounds simple enough until I realized I have no real new pages with usable drawings of Moonshadow and Wallflower. My art has improved a lot since the last time we really saw them in the comic, so I decided to sit down and sketch two new drawings of them to use in the project image. Pardon my crappy photoshop job resizing Wallflower's head, haha. Also sorry about the lines on the page. I actually ran out of paper the other day and this was the only one lying around and it already had stuff drawn on it. If you look closely you can see I was sketching on the other side of the page trying to come up with a cover concept for the book. I will be posting the colored drawings and the project image here when they're finished. There will be a new Willem page up tomorrow. I am taking next week off from comic updates for personal reasons (long story short, I found out my cat is dying from cancer and I have not been able to concentrate well on comics). I will probably be working on little simple things for the Kickstarter next week and maybe building my comic buffer if I can. I'll update with sketches and screen shots and let you know how things are going. Thank you so much for your continued patronage!
