Itachi says if sasuke gets it he'd be the 3rd to ever have it..... guys kakashi has one. doesnt count unless you have both eyes? Itachi is just being rude by ignoring our spikey haired jonin. X3

2021-11-04 20:36:59 +0000 UTCPicking a favorite Akatsuki is so damn hard :D The least favorite is Zetsu. Favorites: Deidara, Sasori, Itachi, Pain, Kisame Those I like a lot for different reasons. If I had to pick a single one, it would probably be Itachi, cause of the Genjutsu specialization. I like the mystique about it, which is also reflected in his theme song. The crows emerging from his clones add to that. Also, how damn badass is it when everyone panicked during the "fake" Itachi encounter in the Gaara rescue arc. Having to actively avoid looking him into the eyes and Chiyo explaining that you basically dip out if you fight against the Sharingan alone...insane. I could go into why I love the other ones, but that would be too much. Only gonna expand on Deidara. I just love his hotheaded character. In an organization where a lot of them are cold and reserved, his explosive personality really sticks out and in combination with his jutsus, is just a blast to watch, unlike Hidan (he is cool but Hidan lacks depth in fighting style). The Tobi interactions were also hilarious in the filler episodes.

He speaks like a wise person, we saw flashbacks of him being very kind to his brother and he's also very calm. I like all these things about him, but in that moment I didn't seem to hate him like I'm supposed to hate villians. So up until this moment I was just excited about the fight that is coming. I'm not a Sasuke fan, but I hoped Sasuke will beat him eventually, and maybe then, Itachi would had reveal why he did what he did. Because "in order to elevate myself" seems a forced reason and kinda uncool for his character.

2021-11-04 19:49:45 +0000 UTCSadly excessive flashbacks will plague Shippuden more and more. Maybe spoilers below, but tried to be as vague as possible. Upon rewatch, i noticed something new. Did Itachi try to implement the first step of that forbidden jutsu on Sasuke?
