Ok so it isn't just me lol what we've seen of his so far I don't really like his way of speaking but he is very good looking so I still don't mind him on the screen😂 we'll see though🙄

But if hlthe evil in him controls him then it won't matter if he good . I like the Jack character too. But this supernatural so how often do things go our way . I think we treating Jack like a ticking time bomb. Because he a ticking time bomb. With bombs one wrong move an everything blows up.

2024-06-08 22:57:58 +0000 UTCFabulous reaction to this second episode! You fell for Jack the same way I did. Lol! In my opinion, he's so sweet and you can't help but want to protect him. My first time watching it, I was also the same as you, wanting Dean to be nicer to Jack. But then I started to realize everything he was going through (which I went into at great length in my last post. lol!) and I cut him lots of slack. Yes, I also think Jack wants to do good - and that is very good. (LOVE him imitating Dean, it's so heartfelt and heartbreaking at the same time!) But then, of course, I understand the trepidation from Dean (and Sam and Donatello a bit too) because that kind of power is so immense. I mean, he got tricked into almost freeing a race of monsters so dark and destructive that God never even let them see the light of day. 😱 Obviously it wasn't his fault that he got tricked, but it still almost happened. It's exactly like Sam told Jack, Dean feels like it's his job to protect everybody. So, what kind of guilt and self-hatred is he going to heap onto himself if Jack goes nuclear and hundreds, thousands, potentially millions of people get hurt, when he could have "ended the problem" and saved them all? It's just a LOT of pressure on a guy who's kind of broken and in pain. As far as Jack's reception from the fandom, I can't say for sure, cause I wasn't in the fandom at the time, but from what I've been able to glean, most people really liked him, but there were defintely a healthy section that really, really didn't. From what I can tell, the people who DIDN'T like Jack, REALLY didn't like Jack. But again, it's just what I've picked up. I'm gonna go on record right now and say that Asmodeus is my least favourite SPN character throughout fifteen seasons. I legitimately HATE him and not in a good way, not in a Crowley "love to hate him" way. I just can not STAND his character. Like, it's painful to watch his scenes and I skip over them every time I rewatch these episodes. But I'll get through them so I can see your reaction. 😁 But of course, that's just my opinion. Other people enjoy him, and from what I understand, the actor who plays him is a really sweet, funny guy. So, take my opinion with a grain of salt. 🤷♀️ Anyway, this comment was supposed to be short and sweet. 😄 Clearly I've proven once again, that I don't know how to do that. 😁 So stoked for S13!
