So, you know... perfect. ππ But I'm 100% with you on Dean's decision to let Ezekiel in. Sam was completely giving up, refusing to fight. And in my mind, that choice has always been akin to suicide. Obviously there are differences, but it's the obvious metaphor for what Sam is going through - having to decide whether to keep fighting through a hard, painful life, or simply choosing to die. So, in my mind (and Dean's, I think) Sam was standing in the middle of the room with a gun to his head, and Dean was gonna knock that gun out of his hand by any means necessary. I understand people saying he took away Sam's choice, but if he hadn't Sam would be dead, and I'm not okay with anyone choosing to end their life. So, I'm with you 100%. There was no way Dean was ever going to let Sam die. He just does not have it in him. π₯Ί And I agree that Sam wouldn't have let Dean choose death either. These boys - always breaking out hearts! "There ain't no me if there ain't no you." πππ So, because Cas lost his grace he's human, but all the other angels who fell, just lost their wings. They still have their grace, so they can still do all the other angel things, like healing, smiting, etc. They just can't fly, and they can't get back into heaven. Most of them don't know about Metatron or that he was part of anything, so they just blame Cas. Of course, some of them just hate him and blame him for everything anyway. Poor Cas, he tries so hard. π₯Ί So excited to watch seasons 9 & 10 with you!! They're two of my favourites for sure! Also, just as a kind of warning, a lot of people refer to this season as "Season Fine" in regards to Dean, cause somehow he's just extra smoking hot in this season! π I mean, he's always ridiculously fine, but there's just something about this season. π€€ Looking forward to the next episode as always! π₯°
