2022-01-23 06:04:32 +0000 UTCThe reason Sam looks so young is because they love Colin Ford playing Sam - he's supposed to be 14 in this episode, there's about 4 years between Sam and Dean. That's why they had the 'midget' bit and the 'you got tall Winchester' lines, as a kind of nod to say 'we know he looks young, he's shorter that you'd expect for his age... so we'll write him as short when he was young'. I'm glad they kept him despite the age, he plays Sam so well. Colin was about 12 when he recorded this. And yes - those shorts, they're so iconic they even became a Dean Funko Pop - which is impossible to buy now, unless you buy it second on eBay for hundreds...
