I have recently created a book club for the channel on the app Fable! We will have a monthly book to read together and the app sorts discussions chapter by chapter so you can read at your own pace and not worry about spoilers! We already have 130 members joined prior to this announcement, which is incredible!

2025-05-22 03:34:25 +0000 UTCPlease tell me that you all are familiar with and intentionally referencing a very funny Georgle Carlin audio sketch called "Join the Book Club!" It's George riffing on funny and ironic titles of books for your book club. College friends in the 90s turned me on to that and every so often someone in the group would just chime in with "Join the Book Club!" and then we would all take turns chiming in witrh different sample titles from the hundred or so that George Listed. "How to Get Back From Boston!" "The Lives of Six Extremely Short Saints" "Fill Your Life With Croutons!" That kind of thing. You either win points for referring to it, or y'all need to listen to it at least once.
