So I dont think Gwens dad knows that they are out fighting aliens. He just knew they had powers. So I guess he assumed that Bens parents knew about the omnitrix, or for some reason him and his wife were hiding during the fight with Verdona and didn't see anything til after she fixed the house.

Also at the beginning of the episode Ben's dad seems out of the loop about plumbers, and when Ben tells him the whole world is at stack because aliens(which he has seen with his own eyes) are attacking, and doesn't care. Yet at the end of the episode he knows all about the plumbers, even has gear(I don't believe that Max came to visit his son's house and left alien tech), and Ben can fight because the world is in danger

2023-06-27 03:24:31 +0000 UTCAlso to be fair, Ben doesn't want to disrespect his Parents even if he is a superhero and stuff, obviously he still has a duty to do which he gets around to when Kevin is in real life threatening danger, but I do like and appreciate that Ben remembers that he was a son first before he became the Savior of the galaxy.

Also Verdona did say Max tried to hide his plumber life from her too even tho she herself was an alien so I dont find it shocking that Ben's dad knew about that too. But you are right there are a lot of plot holes here and there despite how good Ben 10 usually is with keeping track of the lore.

2023-06-26 21:48:06 +0000 UTCthe episode is confusing. but what im getting out of this is that the dad eventually found out about the plumber stuff, especially since their grandma is an alien. but i don't know why Ben's dad acts surprised while we just had a visit from Gwen's family a couple episodes ago.

2023-06-26 21:39:53 +0000 UTCAt the end of the two-part intro to Alien Force, he kept his knee injury after ending his Humongosaur transformation but otherwise it hasn't appeared since. IIRC those are remnants of a dropped plot thread that didn't make it to the final cut. Probs my least fav episode of the first two seasons; should've come out a lot closer at least. Even the alien choices seem out of character for Ben unless he was new to the watch. Flipping the script on your parents and praising them while taking responsibility is the cheat code to skirting punishments though.
