Thanks for letting me know that i need to give Sgt. Frog a watch. I have seen that green frog before, but never tried to find out what show it came from.

2023-03-07 01:29:47 +0000 UTCOh my god. I never noticed it while watching the show, but while Polly was on the internet, they parody the anime Sgt. Frog in the shot with the amazon Frog Gundam thing, which is what I have always thought Amphibia was the cartoon version of. Very different, but the anime is about a frog army squad that comes to earth to invade it, but they end up getting super side tracked and hijinks ensue. They even have the parallel of each frog character having a human partner they make friends with similar to how Anne, Sasha and Marcy get close connections with one of the main Amphibia races Frogs, Toads and Newts! I'm so shocked by happy that the show was aware of this anime!

2023-03-05 17:27:27 +0000 UTCPersonally I don't like to compare the 3 shows (Gravity Falls, TOH and Amphibia) because while they're all connected in some ways, especially TOH & Amphibia, they have such different yet intriguing stories to tell and each of them have different powerful messages attached to them. Plus, as y'all said, TOH hasn't had its ending yet. Without spoilers, I think you guys will be pretty blown away by the finale.
