The previous post was for everyone, now I would like to talk to you about the new page.
We all know from PBB Legacy who the Clan member who gave William the directions to find Bon Bon was, but as I said, that comic version was very hasty and my partner didn't care about the story, so it made me feel guilty about waste pages with more details.
I believe that the note written by Dorian mattered, because it is really impossible to find Bon Bon without someone sharing the secret with you. There is also that old railway, so old that no one would ever notice or take ... if they didn't know where it leads!
That letter had to come out sooner or later. So among the many adjustments to the story, I think it plausible that Betty trusted to introduce William to Mr Blue precisely because there was that note, written by Dorian, which gave William a sort of recommendation.
In Bon Bon the First Law is not to ask who you are or ask questions, so William did not have to show his documents ... because there is only one way to get to Bon Bon, that is through the word of mouth of someone who trusts you so much that they share with you the secret!
But Hans had seen it right, suspecting that William might have arrived by chance, because he didn't seem to know how to behave in Bon Bon, because Dorian hadn't had time to instruct him ... it was a decision made with courage and speed.
But Dorian somehow trusted William. Will he have done well? :)
