I am glad and very happy, you made me feel like a... cool youtuber with just one video LOL! XD Also I received a box of Christmas gifts from Mr.Wolf 12 and I made for him my first unboxing video reaction ever (private)... so yes, now I am like a Youtuber LOL XD

I just finished page 10, I just had to finish the perspective of the bkg of the last panel ... and only now I realize that I forgot to do the iron balcony railing (Dorian risks falling down!) XD . Ok no problem, I will do it later ;)

But now I want to make a gingerbread house for my family since tomorrow I will be their guest at the Capodanno.
Capodanno in Italy is the New Year's Day but translated can mean two words. The first is "beginning of the year" because it is a contracture of these words: A capo d'anno.
a capo = beginning
d'anno= of year.
but the contracture has an inside joke
Capo = Boss
danno = Damage (LOL...)
because in Italy during Capodanno there are many damages!
At one time it was customary to throw old things of the house out of the windows, like the porcelain dishes ...very dangerous!
But basicall now Italians prefer to explode small explosives. And... this means that every year many Italians go to the emergency room because they lose their fingers. Or eyes ( a friend of mine's son lost an eye at the age of 6 :( ).
IMHO this things are terribly dangerous and stupid. This is why many people in Italy do not leave their homes during midnight because in some places it looks like an urban war and it is dangerous to receive fire from people who make fireworks or craft bombs from their balconies! ( or in the courtyard, once I burned my coat because of a cousin which lighted a little swirl of firework near my feet...). It is not recommended to go down the street under the buildings during midnight or you may risk something in your head.
If you want to know what is the city at the head of all these pyrotechnic urban explosions, the scariest, the most dangerous, the craziest and the most spectacular ... is Naples. But aside the bomb wounds, and some cases of ethyl coma, in Italy durng Capodanno you can admire the most spectacular fireworks you've ever seen because we do so many! So find a safe place and enjoy the show!

2019-04-08 11:59:54 +0000 UTCAccording to news in Italy this year there were 216 wounded (including those who lost a phalanx or 2 fingers) of which 13 were serious (a boy lost 2 fingers in one hand and amputation of a leg). 37 injured in Naples. A serious injured man was hit by a " craft bazooka" (yes ... a crazy news but true), a woman from a rocket in his chest and a man in the city of Taranto risked the amputation of the penis (puzzling that on facebook are creating jokes about this case) ... fortunately this year no one is dead. But too many uneducated people did not obeyed the prohibitions, like every time, they will never learn the lesson ? -_-

I'm happy to know that enjoy Mrwolf12's gift. :D I don't know what that gift was, but it must of been something really special. ^-^ 3. I love the name Capodanno (for both the meaning and the urban nick name). :) Though….I don’t get the loitering during that time. :( and with glass china? Oh that’s just in bad taste. :’( What I’m mostly wondering is what the hell kind of “Fireworks” are THOSE!!?? O_O My goodness! D: Those look like pipebombs. I’m so sorry to hear that your friend’s son lost his eye to this incident. ;-; Seriously; what’s wrong with people using sparklers, firecrackers, tiny (colorful) smoke bombs, or even snap rocks to celebrate the new year? @_@ That’s what my family did here back in the states. We set up a small area behind our house and light up tine firework widgets that were no bigger than an inch (in a controlled environment). Hell even we just use simple party poppers and those are just as fun too! THOSE things that those people are making in Naples are just….nuts. :( On a happier note, those OFFICIAL firework displays do look amazing. :D Anyways, happy new year and have fun over by your family’s house, Vanessa! ^o^

The first of the year is a holiday and no one works, apart from the restaurants. So many kids go down the street to play and the favorite game is to find unexploded explosives and try to turn them on without their parents' knowledge. So it happens that many children lose their fingers because they pick up frm the streets ( still not cleaned ) a small fuse not exploded and suddenly it explodes in his hand. Because uneducated people don't trash the the explosives that do not work, they throw them out the window anyway. Many kids are attracted to these explosives and want to play without adult supervision.
