I know this posting was awhile ago but Anne having one shoe seems realistic to me: they don't have people who know anything about humans so how could they accommodate her with clothing? As for her leaves and sticks, my headcanon is that they just fall on her all the time

Adventure Time is like Peak Animation storytelling, I would even put it right up there with Avatar the Last Airbender. Also.... 2 other things.... Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that Adventure Time didn't have a 2 11min-episodes together format like Amphibia does, i could swear it had standalone 11min episodes just like Steven Universe for example. And secondly.... The 2 11min-episodes format is not that rare nowadays, and it also doesn't define if a series is plot-heavy or just episodic shenanigans. Star vs the Forces of Evil is good example of that, it was a very plot-heavy show and it also had the 2 episodes-in-one format.

2022-08-13 02:32:07 +0000 UTCIt's actually kind of ironic imo that they watch a lore-heavy show where every episode advances the plot like the Owl House two episodes at a time, but a show like this, where it takes a while to really get up and running, they take it one episode at a time. This show is the one that deserves the two episodes at once treatment, because they'd get to the really good stuff much faster. For instance, they'd be past episode 10 and sixteen already, both highly pivotal to the overall plot, and going on their way to episode 20 😛
