Screening the Jason v Michael v Leatherface Short Film tomorrow
Added 2020-12-26 17:59:08 +0000 UTCI'm finishing up a few minor things with the short and it will be finished today. I'll be showing the My Friend Watches crew tomorrow for the first time. The only person that has seen any of it is Jeremy when I showed the first 4-ish minutes for feedback. Otherwise, no one has seen it. I'm hoping the crew likes it and responds positively, and most of all, I hope it was worth the wait for you guys that have been hearing me blab on about it for a few months now.
I'm not sure how well the short will do from a viewer perspective. The teaser didn't garner any traction and since Halloween and Friday the 13th are both past, people may not be as interested in it now. Either way, this was a passion project I really just wanted to complete. I learned new things that I'll be implementing in future projects, and I can't thank you all enough for helping me financially make this viable. It's nice having an actual budget when working on projects like this.
Typically, the My Friend/Girlfriend Watches pays the bills, and projects like this come at a financial loss. However, I first got into YouTube and making videos with the desire to make shows, shorts, or movies. It's what I really love to do, and I just hope I can get better at it with each one. That being said, The $5, $10, $25+ some of you give a month enables me to pursue my passions, and that's priceless to me. I struggle with being able to respond to everyone timely because of the volume of messages I get, but I hope you all know how much I appreciate any level of support you give me. The blessings of my life are not lost on me, and I don't take it for granted. Whether this is just a temporary season of life, or a viable and permanent career, I'm so thankful to have you guys enable me to make cheesy shorts, and watch movies along with me every week.
