Happy Anniversary!

A couple weeks to the day haha, but I cannot for the life of me believe it's been a whole year since I started writing officially.

So, a special message from me to you.

GRATITUDE

I hold no illusions that I'd be here today without every last one of you.

From those who've so graciously endured since my earliest days, to those who've cheekily popped in and out, and to anyone and everyone who've deemed my writing worth even a quick glimpse - I say thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

This has honestly been the best year I've had in a long, long time. I owe you all for that.

GROVELLING

I must seek your forgiveness for my recent schedule (or lack thereof).

I've been radio silent beyond the sporadic chapter releases, I know. Unfortunately there had been a sudden bereavement in my direct family. The rites kept me preoccupied, and the last guests being hosted at my home finally left the day before - which has allowed me to now return to regular life.

Been a rough start to the year between that and the injury, not gonna lie haha. But I'm ultimately hopeful that the rest of the year will be far more pleasant because of it.

I would've relayed this sooner, but I didn't want to toss out an excuse before I had something of substance to deliver along with it. Something I aim to prove by releasing the next IoTV! chapter immediately after this update! We have reached the end of the limitless saga.

GOING FORWARD

I intend to conclude I'm on TV! within the oncoming year. Hopefully satisfyingly!

My gameplan is simple: every week I will publish two chapters of IoTV! and MnS each (4 total). This will allow me to maintain quality control over the story without burning out and writing crap for the sake of getting something put to page. Palate cleanser + platform growth + fresh creativity, essentially.

Public release will be half that to ensure that you as patrons get some value out of being here haha.

Beyond that, though, I aim to execute on a few more exclusive bonus feature ideas I have (like the IMBD page, Anita's article, Bas' profile, etc) in the near future as well. So look forward to that!

There's a very real temptation to chase any nonsensical plot thread I can concoct, and keep this story going forever. But I don't want to do that - its not fair to you or the story. I'd like to maintain some semblance of integrity and not lead you on for extra cash.

That's not what I'm about.

I'd like to end the story on terms that make you put it down with a smile on your face and maybe even the itch to pick it up and reread some day haha.

That said, there's plenty more juice left in the can and I hope you can all continue enjoy Bas' shenanigans - trust me, they're gonna be out of this world towards the end.

I think I've rambled enough for now. My point overall is that I'm so thankful for your support, so sorry for my hiatus, and so committed to getting back on track.

Here's wishing you all a happy anniversary, happy Chinese new year, and happy Valentines day!

I hope I can make you this coming year as happy as you've all made me the last.
