New Spider-man short film

Hey there everyone! I wanted to let you guys know what's been going on. Recently, I had a video surge through the YouTube algorithm and generate a little bit extra ad revenue for the month of December. 

This is really exciting because I'm going to take advantage of this and make a short film about a superhero that I've always wanted to try: Spider-man! 

If you've followed my channel for any length of time, you know I'm a HUGE Spider-man fan. I've never had an actual budget for anything I've worked on, but for this short film I'm going to have roughly $1000 to work with, both from adsense and your support. (You will have your name in the credits if you are my Patron).

It's a super exciting process making stuff like this, so I wanted to let you know where I'm at. All the main roles have been cast: Spider-man, Mary Jane, and Uncle Ben. There are a few side characters that haven't been cast yet, but they will be soon. 

The script has been written by yours truly. I've sent it off to some other filmmaker friends to critique it and give me notes and tell me how bad it is so that I can revise it and make it less bad! Yeah! 

There will be some VFX work, so I found a VFX artist to help with the more technical shots that are planned. We have about 70% of all the locations down, and are having a custom tailored suit made just for this video. (I think it looks awesome, personally.)

Wow, I feel like a real filmmaker! 2019 has been the most rewarding year on YouTube that I've ever had. I've been doing YouTube for a LONG time over the course of many different channels, and dozens upon dozens of really bad videos. In the past 3 years I've made a personal commitment to upload AT LEAST one video a week and I've stuck to that religiously, even when no one was watching my content. Which has been the majority of my YouTube career. 

The past 8 or 9 months, my channel has seen the most growth and it's where I've gained the most support. The fact that I can say I'll be funding a low budget Spider-man short film from YouTube adsense and Patreon supporters just blows my mind and really humbles me. It was always my dream of making film or TV shows, and YouTube has allowed me the creative outlet to make fun stuff. 

I don't know if the Spider-man short film will be any good (especially with me writing and directing lol), but I'll really put my heart into making it as good as I can.
