2025-06-02 07:26:11 +0000 UTCBtw there is additional MHA content barely anyone reacts to, but that are absolutely AWESOME! 😍 One is the OVAs, they are basically like in-between episodes, but it's content that is original to the Anime and wasn't in the Manga, I can give you a list of all of them and when to watch them :D The second one is a bit more difficult, because they are books, but the content in those books is some of my favourite My Hero content xD I'm talking about the My Hero Academia School Briefs 1 to 6 books and they are Light Novels aka "normal" reading books without pictures (but there is some amazing artwork in them tho xD) that focus more on the things that happen to the students in between all those villain attacks and also some interesting training exercises :D In School Briefs 3, there are two of my favourite stories, one that delves deeper into a detail from next episode, but the other (and most hilarious one) is mentioned in this episode: All Might and Aizawa getting drinks together!! xD And of course, the other teachers join and it's the most hilarious thing I've ever read 🤣🤣🤣 If you've ever wondered what the UA teachers are like drunk... this answers that 🤣🤣 The artwork for this one is SO great xD Midnight is trying to force Present Mic to drink one of her special concoctions 🤣🤣 There is a mistake in the official book tho, Thirteen is referred to with male pronouns, because it wasn't entirely clear back when it came out, that Thirteen is actually female, but this is confirmed later on (or you can have the headcanon that she is nonbinary or smth and that is the reason for this mistake xD there are already two confirmed Trans characters [Magne and Tiger] soooo who knows 😅🤣) Reading them really fleshes out the relationships between the characters even more and I love seeing the kids not be traumatized for once 😅🤣 And again, I can tell you which book takes place during what time, but I'd have to look it up xD There are even more extra-content MHA books, but the Light Novels are my favourite! :D And I'm sure people have already informed you about the spin-off Vigilantes, that is getting adapted into an Anime now and starts airing on April 7 😅🤣😍

Bakugo's mother, Mitsuki, possesses the quirk known as "Glycerine," which gives her remarkable skin due to its moisturizing properties, thus contributing to her youthful appearance. His father, Masaru's quirk is called "Oxidizing Sweat," or "Acid Sweat" enabling him to secrete acidic sweat that exhibits combustive and explosive characteristics. Unlike Mina Ashido (the pink girl) Masaru cannot project direct streams of this sweat. instead, it is released in a slow and steady manner, akin to regular perspiration. However, by forcefully rubbing his hands together, he can trigger an explosion, though his quirk does not possess greater potency than that. At one point, he aspired to be a hero but ultimately gravitated towards a career in design. It was during this professional journey that he met Mitsuki, who pursued him with notable intensity. It is evident that Hokoroshi designed their quirks specifically to synergize and ultimately produce Katsuki's abilities. Masaru possesses a less refined version of his son's quirk, capable of generating oxidizing sweat that can lead to minor explosions. Yet, when this quirk interacts with the glycerin secreted by his wife, it results in nitroglycerin, the highly explosive substance that Bakugo himself excretes.

2025-03-12 20:00:23 +0000 UTCJust wanted to draw attention to the uniqueness of Deku’s mom’s storyline in anime. Nearly all shonen’s fall back on the trope of killing off the MC’s parents, or having them missing, in order to kick start the story. This is an easy way to build sympathy for the MC, while also giving a logical reason for a kid to be able to go off on wild adventures without much consequence. I love that in MHA the MC has a completely normal mom, who does get worried and anxious at all the crazy stuff happening around him. It’s such a breath of fresh air. Edit: ignore me if I already made a similar comment, I can’t remember haha

2025-03-12 19:41:43 +0000 UTCI know Bakugou and his mom moment feels like comedic moment and at the time and even know I laugh but when you go back and pay attention to Bakugou's mom saying that if he wasn't weak he wouldn't have caused trouble for the heroes. I always thought that line was terrible.
