He's seen with his hand pressed against a tree, surrounded by smoke and blue fire, and we see that the woods are on fire with the same blue fire. Aizawa is also confused that "the fire wasn't his quirk?" when he thought that the copy of dabi melting away was actually his quirk. Dabi has a fire quirk and blue flames are extremely hot! In real life, blue flames can be up to 3000Β°f. Pretty fitting then that the name he goes by, Dabi (θΌζ―), is Japanese for cremation!
