To be fair about palm, the reason she was so estranged when we met her was because she was seperated from knov, who she has a crush on. So if she is content, she will look like how she does for her date

2024-10-22 04:19:31 +0000 UTCpeople have said it before but Meruem's line this episode "have you ever spared a pig or a cow as it begged for it's life" made it click for me on what Togashi was doing this arc. The chimera ant's and Meruem are the new apex predator. Us humans are livestock to the Chimera ants as much as cows, pigs, chickens, etc. are our livestock. Just because the roles are reversed does that make them inherently evil? or is it just the nature of an apex predator. We may not directly be involved with the mass murder of countless animals for food but we definitely are benefitting from it. It just makes me think is this situation with the chimera ants any different than how we humans operate? Even so, at the moment, I still believe that they are evil because they obviously take enjoyment out of experimenting on us (pitou) or killing and eating us (a lot of chimera ants & meruem with the Nen User). There are a lot of facets to consider with my earlier questions, so I will leave it to you to ponder as I have.

Unfortunately these types of age gaps are fairly common in anime, especially older ones like HxH. One of the Patreons with better editing skills should definitely photoshop Chris Hansen walking up to Gon and Palm on their lil’ date 😂
