I call him and Okonogi the Levi and Hange of Kaiju no 8 🤣 purely in looks. They're personalities are almost the opposite of levi and hange in that Hoshina is the goofy one and Okonogi is more serious. But in some aspects they're the same. Okonogi is studious like hange and Hoshina is a badass like levi

2024-10-20 22:44:48 +0000 UTCI love the Legolas/ Gimli relationship iharu and ichikawa have. And the fact that J&J don't know that reference breaks my bleeping heart. When Iharu says save my friend it chokes me up a little bit each time. Also Kaiju no 9 reminds me of a child with psychotic tendencies almost like he's learning things as he goes. The way he talks makes me at least feel like he is learning the world as he goes along. Ie the way he was talking about is this how humans answer the phone in episode 4 or even the way his mind wasn't computing that he was being defeated by Kafka in this episode

2024-10-20 22:28:48 +0000 UTCMajor Levi Ackerman vibes when Hoshina got serious with Kafka at the end there...whoa. it almost feels these creators of these skilled fighters always add something wholesome or light to these characters (Hoshino with his silliness and love for humor and Levi had his OCD with cleaning) to throw the audience off so when their real skill is finally shown it hits us in the face harder than a punch from Kafka Kaiju P.s. I'm sure I can speak for all of the members of all tiers here on patreon that any surprise drop like this is very much appreciated and we love you guys for it, thank you thank you
