You are the 1st and only Patreon I'm subscribed to. That's how compelled I am. *side note* the two of you both titled ur head at the same time totally in sync to see the bracket list, it was adorable. I hope you guys read the manga because it's so worth it. The thing that was cool about the manga that I noticed was the real year time line. I'm rambling. Just really enjoying yas. Bring joy to my mid life challenges. Oh one last thing...recommending Run with the wind, it very much filled my haikyu sized hole in my heart when the manga ended

2024-10-20 02:07:57 +0000 UTCIf I wasn’t such a libero fan I would hunt down that “Way of the Ace” shirt. Omg I completely forgot this was that BokuAka episode! Hinata being called Bokuto’s pupil again (by Akaashi this time), adorable. Hinata is figuratively being adopted by/taken under the wing of these amazing volleyball players and I love it. Sometimes I imagine where Hinata would be had he gotten even the basic training when he was younger like the rest of these guys. Even if he just had a coach in junior high. Because he might have been an all rounder like Hoshiumi. Hinata just now got a chance to be a ball boy and really learn about receiving. Though, I’m sure his drive and determination would be completely different than it is right now. Hoshiumi is already great, but like Kageyama said: Shoyo can fly higher. Maybe that means his potential is higher too? (I haven’t read the manga I’ve only watch the anime so I don’t think that is a spoiler bc I don’t even know what happens later in the story.) Also, I always thought Hoshiumi’s eyes lowkey reminded me of a frog or the Eye of Horus, but I’ve just learned they’re supposed to look like/resemble a seagull’s eyes. I was very wrong lol. I had to help host an early Halloween party this week for the kids in the family and I wore my Bokuto jersey/shorts as my costume. Not too surprisingly, only 2 of my little brothers recognized it. But after everyone left we passed the volleyball around, along with their mom. I did infact not have bokuto’s long ahh kneepads and received grassburn bc of it. But my little sister (2yrs old) even got to throw the ball, before my corgi started chasing it and trying to chew the volleyball. But I’m so excited for the next team they play. I can’t wait to see yall’s reactions to the next episodes 😆

2024-10-19 20:22:10 +0000 UTCok so im caught up once again !! i haven't been able to watch any of your reactions recently since it's midterm season rn so ive been studying what feels like all day every day; i actually took one today for a calc class so i was mentally exhausted and finally got to binge a few of these for the first time in a while so ty you guys for letting me decompress w these reactions <3 since it's been a while, i didn't realize yall reacted to my comment from a few videos back till today, but to answer yall's question about my username, it's a nickname my friends and i have for my cat. her names june and one of my friends randomly started calling her junie b jones in reference to the kids book and it kinda just stuck after that lmao. it was the first thing i thought of when making my account, not sure why. maybe i'll switch my pfp to her one day to show her off because she's beautiful and amazing and deserves to be shown to everyone ever anyway, i loved hinata's reaction to hoshiumi here. i would say many high school boys would get envious or insecure in a situation like that, but hinata was happy instead. it speaks volumes about his character imo !! i think anyone can learn from him in that moment; i know i certainly did also so funny you guys mentioned yuki kawamura as my brother and i were just talking about him like 20 minutes ago !! im not a big sports girl, but my brother is a huge nba fan and we go to heat games as often as we can. because of how often he rants about it and watches games at home, im kinda forced to know about everything going on. i was watching some clips of the grizzlies game and it was insane to see the height difference b/w him and the other players, he looked so small compared to them. yet he made it to the nba so i think that just goes to show while it may be extremely hard when you're at a disadvantage like that, it's never impossible anyway sooo sorry for the long comment and i cant wait for the next couple episodes !! ive been waiting for you guys to watch those specifically for a while as im sure everyone else has too

2024-10-19 03:06:59 +0000 UTCI love when Hinata says "I'm Happy I made it here" right after he finishes watching Hoshiumi play. Hosiumi maybe small, although he is still taller than Hinata, he has the skills to dominate the court - he can receive, he has accuracy and power in his serving, he can block and he can adapt his spiking to score. Instead of being threatened by Hoshiumi, Hinata sees him as a an inspiration for what he could eventually achieve. Only at an event like a Nationals will you see the best of the best, those who could inspire you to evolve as a player. Not only does Hinata get to observe these great players but he might even get to play against them and that is why he is happy to be there. As we saw Kageyama already saw that Hosiumi could be a "reference" for Hinata during the training camp, "You can fly higher." Now Hinata gets see Hoshiumi as a reference as well. The smirk Kageyama has after Hinata said, "I'm happy I made it here" says it all.

I've been waiting since Haikyuu's first episode of the first season for you guys to watch this next episode, I'm sure you're going to relate so much to this next match, you'll see why, it's one of my favorite matches in all of Haikyuu and I find it so compelling and relatable. It’s interesting that both Karasuno and Kamomedai have a bird as their representative animal, sort of makes the mirroring between Hinata and Hoshiumi even stronger. Also, whilst Hinata’s name means “facing the sun”, Hoshiumi’s name means something like “the stars and the sea”. I love the imagery in this show. When Hoshiumi said he wanted them to be more surprised, it’s because usually people are shocked that he’s so good even though he’s short. Obviously Kageyama and karasuno aren’t as surprised, because they have their own little giant in the form of Hinata. So I guess that’s sort of a new experience for Hoshiumi Also as for how many teams are in the competition, according to the wiki it’s 104. There are 47 prefectures in Japan, but some have multiple teams representing them because they have a higher population, like Tokyo. And each prefecture has a girls team and a boys team, so double that and we get just over 100. If 40 were eliminated it means 64 teams are left, 32 girls and 32 boys
