Yea lot of ifs in your statement and we been knew the Titians as a whole heal so why would it be exclusive to eren? I get not trynna spoil them but you not making sense lol mikasa not healing is for sure a way to indicate she not a titan clearly

At this point the turning-into-titans power is not clear enough to know for sure, maybe Erens healing in human form is unique to him. Maybe the healing in Mikasa is blocked somehow, like mentally or emotionally. Maybe she has control over it and chose not to heal it quickly. Confirming things that isn’t 100% confirmed by the show is spoiling.

It is not spoilers to tell them the obvious….if you like seeing them fumble over the story cool but when something is obvious there is nothing wrong with pointing something out so they won’t be stuck on it for no reason…me narrowing it not a spoiler again it’s obvious if eren heals she would heal as well and she wouldn’t have scars on her face lol there is no reason for them to be stuck on mikasa being a Titan especially if it’s so obvious to see she’s not again not a spoiler me pointing out the obvious reasons why she’s it a Titan

second time i see someone comment that, what is done is done and it's too late to doing something about it but i feel the need to tell you it's kinda spoilerish to telling them that, while it is true and people can catch it by themself it is also not clearly said or imply, by telling them that you narrow down the number of possibility (combine with many other thing viewer tell them you can narrow the posibility down to very few thing) wich make everything way more predictable, it's one of the many thing people say not thinking it's a spoiler, but fail to realise one "not spoiler" + an other and an other, end up as the same result than a spoiler, when you take out every "bad" answer the only thing left is the "good" answer, at this rate we can tell them every one who IS a titan, it will be faster than telling them every one who isnt a titan and have the same result :) PS: i hope you dont take it too personaly my goal wasnt to blame you or else, just making you realise thing can give away more info than you think, hoping you didnt make the same "misstake" in the future, i'm not good enough in english to be tactfull though :x sorry about that and have a nice day :)

Man so many scenes in this episode gave me chills. Especially the scene when they chose where they’re enlisting and those who were left saluted. Or when they got their uniforms. And that last scene with the kids was amazing. Remember when they were those kids and the survey corps were heroes to them now they are the heroes. Also yes, I’m so scared of any of them dying. I can’t imagine.

It's something that is really down to circumstance. In the real world, a lot of defensive wars get loads of volunteers. Granted the odds aren't quite as dire as with the titans but there's a very real risk of imminent death yet hundreds of thousands of people step up to defend their country, and more importantly, their families. I don't think many of us really know how we'd answer the question until we're put in the position.

I hope you guys consider watching the OVAs after you finish season 1! At the very least I hope you will react to Levi's two-parter episode and learn his background. On crunchyroll it's listed as season 66 for some reason lol, and there's 8 episodes where the characters are fleshed out even more. Also, I'm excited for you to learn more about Erwin as we progress. He's one of my most favorite characters in the entire show, probably top 5. Loving this binge!

Maaaannnnnn I can see what you mean in that still frame comparison, Levi and Eren have the exact same color hair, and the exact same color skin, and are wearing the exact same outfit, but they have different hair lines, hair-do, eye shape, brow lines, jaw lines, noses, pretty much everything is different lol. if they had closer eye shapes I'd say for sure, however I feel like their faces are different enough that it's kinda a stretch, but once you've watched more you'll notice how different they look. hahaha

It's official. The site you used to watch 14-16 has terrible translations. Translating the iconic "shinzou wo sasageyo" to "give your lives" instead of to what we all know, "give your hearts" is crossing the line. And that was SASHA (with the brown ponytail) contemplating on joining the Survey Corps along with Jean and Conny.. not Mikasa 😭

I never saw Eren's look at the kids as one of showing confidence, it's more like he saw himself and Mikasa in those children and when he saw them excited and hopeful about the Scouts, he smiled. In a sort of nostalgic, happy way. There's a quick moment this episode that is often overlooked/missed but is brilliant imagery: It's at 28:00 - we see Eren as he's watching his comrades wear their scout capes, and then a shot which pans up to show him looking at a scout's cape - when that scout turns around, we see it is Marco, looking back at Eren. You can see Eren's look of emotional recognition and shock.

A quick pronunciation note for Hange Zoe's name. As heard in the anime, the GE at the end of the name is pronounced as quite literally, the letter G. Next time you try to think of her name, think han-G, han-Gee, (or as some translations spell it) hanji. As for her last name, it is just pronounced as the common name: Zoey. The tall dark-haired girl standing next to Christa that you guys didn’t know the name of is commonly referred to as “freckles” or “the bully” by reactors at this point in the story, as she’s had a few scenes but hasn’t been named yet. She’s the girl that called Armin a loser in Trost in Episode 6 when Conny was shaking him out of his shock. She also questioned Christa for bringing bread to Sasha after she finished running in Episode 3.

Thank you for your great reaction again! I love that you try so hard to get who is on the screen and who say what. Most of the reactors don't remember their names well as you do. Characters like Beltoldt , Christa and so on... For the new opening song, it is called "Jiyuu no tsubasa(Wings of freedom)" and I didn't like it so much before, but when I heard the full song recently, I absolutely loved it. You must try all of these songs in full version sometime.(Like when you finish AOT) Coming arc is my second favored! Have fun and take care XD

11:48 i personally really relate to annie here. i think many who watch the show are always too harsh on people not choosing the survey corps, almost acting as if they were selfish jerks. i dont think i could throw away my life for mankind, most people wouldnt be able to if we are being honest. so i think that would be an interesting question for you two. Do you actually think you could join the survey corps after hearing what erwin said? that on the next expedition alone 30 percent will die. that you will most likely die in the next couple of years. i think supporting fictive characters from the outside making such an idealistic and selfless decision is easy. but imagining to actually do the same thing in their shoes is impossible for me at least

Since y'all have been skipping the intro, episode 18 is when the intro is free of any major spoilers so you can watch it then if you'd like. also, for the trial scene with Mikasa, it's not something to look deeply into. In anime (and cartoons in general) eyes shaking most commonly refers to fear, as though the person was subtly shaking from fear, and Mikasa was scared for her and Eren in that scene.

The scene of Jean being stern with Eren towards the end has become one of my favorite scenes in Season 1. His line, “Mikasa, not everyone is just willing to die for Eren” is so powerful, cause it feels like a direct message to the audience. Eren is our main character, and with Armin and Mikasa they form our trio, but in the end that is our biased perspective. Jean and others are their own “main characters”, they need legitimate reasons to do this, not something as simple or meta as the audience’s thoughts of “Eren’s the main character, of course everyone should follow him”. Such a beautiful and succinct conversation that tells the audience just how real this world is.

He's closer to 5'3", but it's not much of a difference. also, he has never been given a confirmed age, only hypothesized to be in his 30s based on the timeline, but it's not like it matters enough to be an issue. 32 is fairly good if you want to be exact.

Y'all are doing VERY well keeping characters straight. Some clarification; Nile is the commander of the Military Police. A mistranslation I noticed is the Wing logo on the Scout uniforms are called the Wings Of Freedom, not the Wings Of Liberty. Despite Levi's short 5'2" stature, he is 32 I believe. Can't WAIT for the next episode!
