Pixis' speech about dying right here rather than in wall Sina was less about the fact of where they die, and more about how they die. if you die right here, it's because you laid down your life fighting the good fight. if you died in wall Sina, it's most likely because everyone was killing eachother, starving to death, and going feral in the chaos. He's saying it's better to die a noble death fighting to not let that happen than to reach that point of turning on each other. As that would have been a willing choice to push it to that point by surrendering and NOT fighting to the death right now.

Just keep in mind that they have been training and living in dorms together for the past 3 years. So they aren't just fellow soldiers, they are all friends. So there is already going to be a certain amount of trust between all of them.

I’m happy about the more frequent uploads, but this show is extremely taxing both mentally and emotionally so if you need a break at any time don’t hesitate to take one. Even if it’s just a day here or there. We want you to stay excited and invested, so don’t burn yourselves out. As for this episode, I laughed so hard at Jared yelling “Shut up, Daz!” repeatedly because when I watched for the first time, I did the same thing. There’s also one more character I yelled that at over and over, so now I’m curious to see if you guys do too. But that’s a few seasons down the road so we’ll just have to wait and see.

I hope that if they have a busy or difficult week in real life they don’t feel “forced” to try and hit 6 episodes that week, as that is quite a lot! I think we’d all understand if in the next 3 months they have a few weeks that drop below 6, that way they can keep the quality high and avoid burnout

I don't think Pixis was using reverse psychology when he stated that that he will pardon anyone who leaves (meaning he won't give them punishment for disobeying his orders). He was being sincere because he understands that asking soldiers to risk their lives while he himself is going to be safe while only giving them orders is unfair. It seems like so far soldiers have been motivated by fear (the fear could be that they will be punished for disobeying orders from higher officers or other types of fear like the fear of titans). I think Pixis has given the soldiers a new motivation to fight the titans which is a hope for a safer future for their families/friends! 💜 Also, I have some questions: will the upload schedule for General Access members stay the same where 2 episodes of Death Note on Mondays, 2-3 episodes of Haikyuu on Wednesdays and 2-3 episodes of AOT on Fridays? Also, is Otaku membership only exclusive to AOT reactions? The reason I ask that is because there are many patreons who would love for you guys to finish Death Note and Haikyuu early too (but I understand if it's not feasible since AOT requires a lot of time). Love your reactions and can't wait for all the amazing anime you guys will react to in the future!!! Also, please do pace yourself so you don't get burned out 🙏 💜 😊
