"pinnochio says 'my nose is going to grow' does it?" well, that's a statement, not necessarily a lie. and i think there needs to be some sort of 'currently true or not' logic, so for these, if it's not 'true' while said, it's technically a lie. the reaction of the nose growing BECAUSE it was a lie, making it true after the fact, kinda doesn't matter, it was a lie then, so, it grows. but also, 'my nose is going to grow' only is a lie if he never tells another lie in his life, since there was no time stipulation...

Long and short is that supes had crap vision, got powers that “fixed” his vision but supes was created 80 or so years ago, so a child getting lasik eye surgery without his eye doctor knowing would be weird also I don’t think lasik existed back then and you can’t just “cure” needing glasses Also I’m not a huge comic guy this is just some stuff from some iterations of super man that I’ve seen.

You can easily automate the downloads using the "ia" CLI interface provided by the python-internetarchive package.
