July update post!

Hey y‘all! Here‘s the promised July update post after I actually managed to for once take an entire weekend off 🙈

So! First things first with the most important thing, I‘ll be finally having the follow-up Colonoscopy to my longer hospital stay in December at the end of the month so I‘ll be most likely take a few days off around the date and on the day specifically to 100% for preparation and recovery, wish me luck for it! 🙌💕

I also have as I wrote in discord earlier today a dentist appointment tomorrow and will most likely finally have to go through with getting my wisdom teeth pulled because I‘ve been getting more and more inflammations over the past ~2 years and am currently dealing with another no matter how good my mouth hygiene is because of their shit placement, as you probably know I‘ve been postponing that for years too since it usually has a one to several week long recovery time and I can‘t really afford that normally but it gets to a point now where I‘ll most likely have to do it and just hope you guys will understand that I may not be able to work much during the recovery time, even if I‘d want to depending on how it goes. I‘ll obviously consult the dentist tomorrow to get her advice on the matter so this isn‘t final but given that the inflammations keep happening and I can‘t do anything about them really and every dentist I‘ve visited about it so far recommended it to me, it‘s something I‘ll most likely have to do. 😔🙏

Medical issues aside, I‘ll be re-opening the commission form at some point this week and also resume with the study doodles! Don‘t have a specific date yet mostly because of waiting for what the dentist will tell me tomorrow and if at worst I have to shuffle around my schedule for this month more but I‘ll let you know! 🙌 I‘d prefer still doing study doodles for this month instead of (1) conventionally voted illustration because they‘ve been genuinely alot of fun to me and help me work on anatomy study oarts more effectively too 🥺

Aside from that I‘ll most likely just focus on finishing up more of my almost finished personal WIPs and some overdue work where I wanted to polish up older things but haven‘t gotten around to, as you‘ve probably noticed and I also adressed on discord I‘ve been overdoing it a little too much in the past few months with my overall workload and it’s been really affecting my health negatively so this month I‘m actually really trying to finally take it a bit easier 🙈 wish me luck I‘ll be able to finally do it this month for real. 💪

And just in case : NO this doesn‘t mean I‘m not going to do anything at all this month, it just means I‘ll try to work on overdue WIPs in my free time instead of starting new projects and also will keep only taking as many commissions and doing as many requests a month that I can realistically finish within said month and won‘t be doing any extra work since I‘d prefer to avoid another heavy burnout situation like in 2021 which I also hope is understandable. 🙏

Basically I‘m just trying to work a little less since I‘ve been doing way too much in the recent months and it‘s been getting to me so I‘m doing damage control to avoid it getting worse 🫡

For the chocolate tier sketches I‘ll be announcing the submission timeframe at a later date since the usual rough one I choose for most months is around the date I‘ll be at the hospital for the colonoscopy so I‘ll have to see when I‘ll be taking these also depending on what my dentist says tomorrow. thank you so much for your patience and your support!! 🙌💕

Mostly medical related things this month unfortunately, but aside from that the art side for the remaining month should hopefully be chill 🙌💕
