However, behind the flashy lights and leather seating lies a strict management policy and pricing structure that not everyone finds appealing.

Taboo sets itself apart with a more lounge-like layout—private booths, leather-padded seating, mirrored walls, and low-lit ambiance. The club emphasizes a polished look, with performers dressed more fashionably and dancing in smaller, more choreographed sets. The music leans toward R&B, Latin, and hip-hop.

However, the bar has some unusual and strict internal rules. Most notably, the mamasan enforces a "no kissing" policy, and dancers confirm that breaking this rule can result in fines. This makes Taboo the only club in Pattaya (to the author’s knowledge) where such intimacy is officially forbidden. The name of the club proves fitting—certain behavior really is under taboo. This policy seems closely tied to the current mamasan, and might change with future management.
