Champion Tier - Gallows Crossroads | 40x30

Hey everyone, and happy New Release Monday! For today, I'm releasing my updated River Ivlis Crossroads, which I've named "Gallows Crossroads." 

This 40x30 map features a winding dirt road cutting through a creaking and swaying pine forest. Off to the side of the road, you can see an old gallows that was used to publicly execute people who violated the laws of the realm. Nearby, an old, overcrowded graveyard remains with the unkept graves of those who lost their lives here. 

A crooked road sign gives way to weary travelers looking for respite from their long journies. 

This map features two core versions, with and without the gallows. I placed a few trees where the gallows are to give you a few options, making it a little less specific and better for general use. 

Even though the module specifies 11 graves, I felt it needed more and loved the look of an overcrowded graveyard (this was inspired by some real-world locations!). 

The road inclines to the south and declines to the west and the road sign lists the various locations to be traveled to. 

I also included plenty of murky puddles of muddy water due to the constant rainfall in this region. 

It is said those riding past the gallows will show morbid signs of their own fate should they let the whispers of the realm seep into their minds...

That's a wrap for March! I cannot believe we are four months into the year already, where has the time gone??

As I head into April, I get a little bit of wiggle room to catch up as it's a five-Monday month, so for Monday, April 1st, there will be no map release (I know the timing is odd, but I promise this is not a weird April Fools thing haha). 

However, I'll be working on finishing up the restored Burgomaster's Manor in Berez to support the awesome Interactive Tome of Strahd module (Third-party content available on the DMs Guild). 

For Saltmarsh, I'll be working on the Hoolwatch Tower next as I work my way through the 11th location in Saltmarsh!
