Ahri and Xayah at the Noxus dungeons

After Ionia's invasion, some vastayas were brought back to mainland Noxus were they would work or entretain the people in coliseum battles. Between the group of captured vastayas, there was two special characters the Noxus army understimated: a nine-tailed fox and a vastaya rebel leader.

The rebelium at the coliseum was something unexpected given the vastayas locked up in the dungeons - mostly minotaurs, who often fight on the arenas - were drained from their magic daily so they couldn't try a escape.

However, the Noxian anti-magic artifacts didn't work on more powerful individuals versed in another kinds of magic, like the vitality channeling the nine-tailed fox was able to do. A blind spot that enable a great escape from the prisioners when the guards lost control over most of the vastayas in the dungeons.

It's still researched by scholars how the aforementioned "vitality channeling" works, and how it was used to recharge the minotaur's strenght to set free the prisioners. Such mistakes can't happen in future endevours, given the reputation of the empire is at stake each time a fumble like this happens.

EDIT: I know Ahri supposedly kills people because of her powers, but give me some artistic freedom to say she can't "reverse channel" some of that power and empower her allies in other kinds of ways.
