A Date With Fang - prototype Release

*EDIT*

If you follow the link and it only shows you a page saying "No downloads available at this time" There should be a small, easy to miss "<--- Game Page" Button below "Download "A Date With Fang". Click that and it should take you back to the actual game page where you can play it in browser.

*EDIT*

A date with Fang is a text-based one night stand simulator where you engage in various conversations and activities with Fang, the overly large and well built anthropomorphic black wolf as seen in Changing Perspectives Again, to eventually progress yourself from casual conversation and flirting to a night of passion and intimacy with the man himself.

In this proof of concept prototype the first of three planned phases of interaction is available for play and testing. You can choose from currently one of three different types of interaction with Fang, each of which has several options of different interactions you can then engage in with the wolf. As you converse and interact with Fang the attraction between the two of you will increase based on your interactions and new options may become available as the attraction grows.

In the final product upon reaching maximum attraction you will then be able to proceed to the next stage of the game. At this time the prototype only has the first phase playable.

Some of the interactions text are mostly shorthand placeholders and eventually the majority of the existing content in the prototype will be rewritten to be more detailed and intricate including more broad usage of player customization such as the name and nickname choices as well as other potential future options.

Currently we are experimenting with various cheat options as bonus mechanics. The first of which and the current implemented one is the ability to turn on and see the resource menu for the current phase you're in so you know exactly how much you have done and how much you have left to go before you be able to reach the next phase.

This in collaboration with my friend Articus who has become a very quick friend over the last year and who has silver projects of their own they've worked If on the most well-known one currently is bigger is better, a twine based macro micro themed RPG. They working with me too help realize some of the projects I've wanted to work on for quite a while from the development and coding end while I provide the writing and concept/ direction. I highly suggest checking out their work and keeping an eye on them in the future for their other projects.

You can find more of their work on their Furaffinity here: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/gunpoint/

Or catch them on twitter here: https://twitter.com/ArticusData

We projects of similar type to this that we have planned out for the future in addition to this one that we hope will eventually offer a much broader and more interactive experience for you all.

I really hope everyone likes what we've got so far and looks forward to the future updates of this project and other projects we have in the works

You can check out the prototype at the link below!

Still not getting through. I definitely get the prompt to authenticate and it seems to work fine but it keeps asking the password when I click Game Page. Not really sure what's causing it at this point, I'm sure you've done everything correctly too.

Make sure you're using the patreon access link and that you authenticated with your patreon sub to me. If you have an itch.io account try logging out then back in.

Thanks for looking into it! The game page asks for a password though.

Figured it out! below "Download a date with fang" There should be a <-- Game Page button that will take you back to the front page with the game available to play in browser. for some reason that link defaults to the download page.

I'm having the download problem on desktop. It says "Nothing is available for download yet". I gave ti a day in case it was just itchio needing to catch up but it's still showing as blank, unfortunately.

I think its only set to run in browser at the moment because there's an asset folder that goes with it. are you trying to use it on mobile or desktop? I had one other person that had this issue but it worked when i gave them a different direct link i think so I'm not sure what's causing it. If you're on mobile try it on desktop and if it still does the same thing let me know and I'll see about just packing it up and add a downloadable zip option

Rain Storm

Hmm, when I click the itch link, it tells me there's nothing to download there? Might be a screw up on my end too
