lineless fox marker doodle
Added 2022-01-09 17:44:19 +0000 UTCanother lil scan! 4x4 inch marker doodle, planned digitally as usual, and colored on my strathmore heavyweight marker paper
the minimal linework here was actually done on my ipad and printed; i've recently learned that my markers won't destroy and feather inks that i've printed on my marker paper with my inkjet printer, so i'm probably going to move to doing my linework digitally for marker stuff in the future and printing it out to color! :> it's a big relief, as i'm not the best with traditional inks and can rarely get them looking how i want. it can also REALLY be a bummer to have to start over and having to re-ink and/or re-color a whole marker picture because i made a big mistake somewhere in the process. it will be nice to have to focus only on the marker coloring process when a drawing reaches the traditional stage - because if i make a mistake coloring and need to start again, i can simply re-print the inks and be on my way

thank you! i'm somewhat interested in taking traditional marker commission at some point, provided the client pays shipping too :} not for conventions though because i don't really have an interest at tabling conventions - it seems so stressful 😭
