Trying to design Edwin before he started seeing Portia and felt like he needed to have a lil bit of a change. He’s very clean, but def hasn’t cut his hair in YEARS because he hates the hairdresser and they don’t do it right (obvi he says wow this is great! And then cries in his car) so he hasn’t been in a long time. He also prob doesn’t eat properly and sleeps most of the time because perhaps a lil depressed… a lil. He’s also p self conscious, so he’d wear oversized clothes, always long sleeves, that really are just too big. He has like 2 pairs of pants, and 2 flannels, and 10 shirts. He does laundry regularly. I think he’s probably a bit of a neat freak.

Once he begins seeing Portia, she ‘strong arms’ him into making some changes, aka ‘well if you care what I think about you, dress better’ and rewards said behavior. She’s also happy to compliment, and I think he finally realizes that she isn’t always making fun of him, that she’s sincere and he just can’t take it as that. She gets him on the hair care and skin routine but tbh, he doesn’t need much. Also starts making him eat real food regularly. Portia has a glow up, but it’s more inward like she’s just more pleasant, happier, less stress. I think she had a short fuse but she’s much more patient now and is comfortable enough to be kind and even more earnest
