The birds of paradise, followed closely by Lammergeiers. The former are incredibly vibrant, and many species bare next to no resemblance to the others. The latter are very possibly the most majestic birds of prey on the planet(they’re also unique in the sense that they eat bones).

Coyotes and leopards. Coyotes are taking the ecological place left by the red wolf and, because they aren't apex predators, when they're aggressively hunted they produce larger litters and more of their females breed. They've now spread to every state in the continental US and there are even pictures of them dodging cabs in NYC. Leapords are the smallest of the great cats but are the ones most likely to turn it around and hunt their hunters. They're also masters of adaptation. Once motion sensitive cameras became a thing people realized they'd been hanging out in cities and that was the first we knew about how common that was.
