I'm back

Hi guys, it's been like a whole month isn't it...

This post yapping session is a little important, so I would really appreciate it if you read it.
Long story short, I had some small technical issues that escalated a little bunch, and I ended up losing most of the original image documents/files, whatever you call it, including the WIPs, so all I could do about it is remaking them, basically.

So, since I'm an absolute genius, and I had to, one way or another get new pieces for my PC, I thought that it was the best moment to buy a new graphics tablet, update my shitty screenless Wacom with the cheapest one with a screen I could get and even thought is a little small, and don't get me wrong, being able to see where I'm drawing instead of throwing guessing lines is fantastic, and the pressure sensitivity is leagues above the one my old wacom had, but being my first first time using a tablet with a screen, it had its own learning curve... and in hindsight it maybe wasn't the best idea to make the change at that specific moment...

Going back to the point, I basically lost all the progress I made for v0.6, and right now the only finished is this one, and maybe the Alexa one (I only have the one frame I uploaded here, but since it is a finished one I can use it as a base to do the other ones for it had planned).

So, due to the circumstances, I have a proposal, or more like a plan... basically I'm trying to save my career.

This is something I was thinking of proposing after finishing v0.6, but I think I'll be going for it for now on.

So, basically right now what I'm trying to do are big updates every few months, decided after learning the hard way that doing big updates monthly is impossible for me, but after trying this new method for a while I'm not really satisfied with it.

The current update naming scheme is "0.X.abc"

The new method I have in mind is doing monthly smaller updates, containing 2 to 4 new scenes, with bigger, infrequent (every 3 to 4 months for example) bigger updates that will progress the story, add new zones, etc.

This way updates should come more frequently, facilitating for me to keep you up to date with the progress, and at the same time keep updating more focused, with the smaller ones just focusing on adding new scenes and character interactions, and the bigger ones more broad but thematically aligned stuff.

And to help understand what kind of update is every one, as a new naming scheme I want to start using is "0.X.Y.abc"

So, as an example, right now, to not have you waiting another two months, as soon as I have this and Alexa scene finished I will upload v0.5.1, after it, on may you'll have v0.5.2, with, let's say, Sayoko scenes, then v0.5.3, with Braixen and Mawile scenes, then v0.6 with a new zone and the introduction of Serena and Grace, then v0.6.1 with new Dawn scenes, and so on and so forth.

Is this a desperate attempt to save my neck? Yes.

Do I think this is a good idea? Also yes.

TLDR Please have mercy, it wasn’t my fault (entirely).

Oh yeah the drawing, I mention it in the Alexa one, but I’ve been trying to do thinner, more focused lines, same philosophy here, and use better colors, Viola wears muter colors, so there’s not much room to make them stand out without basically changing them completely, but I still think this ones look more harmonious than before.

But I’m still awful at doing anything that isn’t a character, so try to ignore the bed-couch homunculi she’s sitting on.

Go for it seems like small updates can improve the game play while you work on the bigger parts and it can also help you flush out bugs when they appear with the error system correction

Nero UH

New naming scheme is perfect. And game Is as always Incredible. I patiently wait for the games full release, you really have something amazing so I wouldn't stress so much.
