2024-02-17 04:40:30 +0000 UTCAs far as 'combustion man' being killed too quickly, these couple of episodes were also during one of the first writer strikes in the industry. so things might be a bit cut off or rushed. It's also why Zuko's character was a little off as well. Not that I'm complaining.

In any other show it would’ve been so easy to make it just an evil force of destruction to fit with oppressor narrative, but ATLA does such an amazing job of demonstrating that a person’s will and mindset is what shapes the use of their power, not the raw place that it originates from. The next episode is amazing I’m so excited, such a fan favorite 👌🏾
