The Future of BDAY Weeks (POLL)

There are even more changes we're trying to implement on our Channel/Patreon, and so again we need some feedback from you to help us out.
FIRSTLY, the biggest change: We have decided to make BDAY weeks ENTIRELY comprised of that member's solo content. This means that the Youtube videos AND Patreon videos will be centered around the member who is celebrating his Birthday. This is yet another way we are making an effort this year to give more time towards SOLO work.
With that, there are multiple ways we can approach this. We will continue to have these TWO polls with the winners going on Youtube -
-Personality (official content- interviews, bangtan bombs, behinds, shoots)
-Song (solo or collab- lyric vid, live, dp, focus cams )
However, we are looking at the potential of having 2 polls specifically for PATREON (those with a higher tendency of getting blocked on Youtube) -
-Song (Music Show performance, Concert single Live Performance, etc)
-Personality (Late Night Interview, Other Official Content, etc)
Now with all this being said, we have also seen people in the past talk about v/welives. Since these tend to be longer, we wanted to give everyone the option of watching a v/welive instead of the 2 additional Patreon videos. Meaning, v/welive would be the lone Patreon video for that week. See Poll options below.
ONE MORE THING - We understand some v/welives can be quite lengthy, so a way we can allot more time to them is to push out the Suchwita reactions. There are 3 left (Hobi,Yoongi,JK). This just means we would get to these Suchwitas on another week. In it's place on a bday week, we would add a BONUS bday video for that Saturday (either another poll or a CCW pick). **The reason we need to shift around time so much is because we film all our videos in one sitting.

We know this is probably very confusing. As we are completely restructuring our Patreon channel we are very much in an experimental phase. During this time we'll figure out what people prefer, as well as if it's sustainable for us and our recording schedule. Eventually we will find what works and that can be the norm moving forward.

That's how I feel. But since it's difficult to see them all, I think it would be a good idea to group live in order, vote on them, and then watch only the ones that came out the most one by one.

I def think you guys should still get to the welives at some point though, they provide a much deeper and more realistic insight into the members' personality. It’s such a good watch for their behind the scenes stuff.

They just have fun doind things like traveling to a European art festival, cooking, wood working, traveling for a mv shoot, making bracelets, driving and listening to music, and camping!! The members write the captions for the videos so it's even more personal. There is one for each member from 2020 and new ones from 2022.

If it is OT7 maybe yes but not solo lives because it's slow paced and you might get bored because most of the time they were not talking and they're only reading the comments, so it's not really suitable for a reaction. If you are gonna react to them, it should be the compilations of the most interesting parts only. I think Suchwita should come first, there's only 3 left with the members, so might as well react to them first.

I just don’t see you benefiting very much from watching them right now. Y’all should try watching one on your own time to get a feel for them though

Also most solo lives there is not much going on except the member talking, it's mostly JK that does something to entertain us by doing karaoke or exercising, or there are welives were RM talks about his process for writing a specific song which is also interesting, Jin also does welives were he plays games

2024-01-22 22:36:43 +0000 UTCtbh vlives/weverse lives aren’t contents that are critical or urgent to watch right now since, i think, there are other contents that should be watched before those. if anything, the ot7 celebration/album release lives (hot100, butter, post award shows, etc) could possibly be watched in chronological order of whenever you guys watch the matching event if that makes sense?? for ex: watch Life Goes On album release weverse live before/after you guys get to review the LGO album just a thought/suggestion if it helps🤷🏻♀️

Now I can be wrong but if I am I'd rather have lives be included in other poll categories like personality than have their own category, is mostly my reasoning about it, sorry for the rant, i don't like doing that i just have a lot of thoughts and a hard time expressing them

Otherwise you could be watching sleeping, eating, doing laundry, etc, and I know you don’t have a ton of time. Just a suggestion.

Vlive/Weverse lives are long and contextual to that moment in time, but there are many FUN compilations of live highlights that can be reacted too! Infact when I need a good laugh, I just watch those comps lol so chaotic!

Some that I would LOVE to see included in your pipeline though are the Album comeback lives, those have a script and are more entertaining to watch. Like others said, some group lives are also good (eg the 2021 post Grammy live where they talked about their loss etc). But most of the solo members one I’d venture to say a compilation is good enough

Jungkook, they'd probably enjoy the ones where he's basically doing karaoke for three hours, to get more of a feel for his vocals. Others come on and give more behind details about whatever they've been recently doing. So I'm okay with it but after the last three Suchwita eps.

I agree with the comments that some live compilations would probably be more beneficial. That being said, I really appreciate all you guys are doing/willing to try to get more content for us. I also hope that when you say you're finishing Suchwita episodes, it doesn't mean you won't be watching them with guests other than the members because they are just as interesting and you continue to learn different things. For reacting to lives I just .... somebody gonna have to explain to me the appeal ... Even if it wasn't against Suchwita, my fav thing ever, I wouldn't have voted for it. That being said, I agree that finishing up the Suchwita episodes should be a priority and then you can pick and choose fun live moments at a later date. I'm so excited for birthday weeks!!! You guys are putting in so much work and I hope you know how much we appreciate you!
