Community Update (This week's schedule)

Hope everyone had a great weekend. And for those of you in the US who are off on today's holiday, hopefully you're enjoying your extended weekend 😊.
Before jumping into the schedule this week, we just wanted to quickly call out the CRAZINESS of our last poll. We have never seen anything this close and it definitely got chaotic over on discord as we were approaching the closing minutes of the poll.
When the poll ended at 1pm, it was still tied at 1,197 votes each! 🤯 - However, upon refreshing the page it looks like someone changed their vote at the last possible millisecond to give "HOME" the win by 1 vote. For us math nerds out there, that is a .04% margin of victory 😳
So of course now we're excited to see WHY these 2 songs were SOO CLOSE! On to the schedule!
Tuesday 9am CST: N.O. MV
We are continuing our chronological journey! This is only the 3rd song in this series but we can already tell this is going to be a lot of fun!! There were so many earlier BTS songs that were teased to us in different documentaries, so we can't wait to get to them all!
Saturday 9am CST: HOME live on Jimmy Fallon
As mentioned above we were looking forward to watching either of the 2 potential poll winners (even if Truth untold was our one time submission 😅) but mostly we were just curious how this song beat out a ballad that's been recommended for months. We trust ARMY's recommendations 😊
As far as future polls we may change it up a bit yet again. Every now and then we may have a video we want to watch, but maybe instead of inserting it to an existing poll, we'll create a separate poll with songs we personally are interested in seeing. (We have a handful in our list, but are sticking to our schedule 😊)
LASTLY - The whole purpose of reducing the number of videos we put out this month is to try and get a head start on BTS shows and therefore make our new tier a reality. Well we're happy to say we've been able to get started on these and cannot wait to share!! If you need a refresher on what we are watching right now you can refer to our detailed post on 12/31/22. Spoiler: It includes shows like Bon Voyage, Run BTS, among others 😉

2023-01-17 01:44:59 +0000 UTCIt's funny of how some of the comments here are saying truth untold is better than home, maybe they forgot that it is also a bts song? lol we have our own preferences, i understand that but to say one is better than the other is not right for me, both songs are different from each other, one is ballad, one is rnb, but both are meaninful, both are great on its own. we love having a poll but which ever wins from it should not be a problem right? because it's still a bts song that they are gonna react to anyway. if truth untold did not win, im sure they will still get to it eventually. Im sad that we have to compare both songs, saying one is better than the other and trying to make a point when they are both different from each other. Idk just saying and im saying this with respect.

I don’t get why the negativity, they will get to TTU eventually. Lots of people voted because they like the song, I voted both home and TTU 🤷🏻♀️

I've watch reactors who are musicians and producers react to it and they didn't say something about being heavily autotuned. Both are BTS songs so I don't think we should go around commenting TTU is better than Home because both are loved by army, that's the reason why they tied. just saying :)

Just a huge miss imo

It’s cool to look at… but bc there’s so much going on.. they tend to get sidetracked with the things going on and miss the actual boys performing and with that stage … I think that’s what’s going to be the case. It’s also extremely autotuned and not their natural vocals which is disappointing. One of the ptd home performances would be better to hear their actual voices and it’s just them on stage having fun…. That’s the definition of home imo… where they belong … with army.

I have seen TOO MANY other reactors watch the version where Jimin is sick, or the 'stage mix' version which I do not like because it doesn't accurately show exactly who is singing at a given moment because of the mix. DOES ANYONE KNOW EXACTLY WHICH YOUTUBE VERSION OF THIS SONG IS BEING RECOMMENDED TO OUR COLOMBIAN COUSINS??? It's got to be the best one!

CCW have only watched solos or ot7 songs so far with the small exception of dimple in that one video. so i think them reacting to an ot7 video (N.O) and then a unit song this week would be nice. it would also be nice to for them to see the members vocals really shine in truth untold since some of them such as tae and jin don’t really get to flex their vocals in songs like no more dream, bulletproof pt2, and n.o.

The idea that Home is not a physical place, but something that you can carry with you, or is contained in the people you love, or something that can be found anywhere in the world. For younger adults (or any adult going through a change in life that requires them to move), I think it's a comforting sentiment. It also reminds me of when V said he's reading the book "I'm home, but I still want to go home". And that it resonates with him even though he didn't get past the cover LOL!. Like that message is all he needs to know to feel the feels. I also just really love the chill/flirty vibe and especially J Hope and Suga's rap breakdown.

MOON would be a really nice song too. It is a song he made for ARMY - kind of related to the Astronaut. As he always thinks of ARMY as his earth, and he is the MOON that revolves around it. He made ARMY the center of his life 😭🤧 Thanks for sharing that docu too. That is a very heartwarming video about Jin. 💜💜💜

I can suggest because you are so musically inclined maybe his OST ‘Yours’ or any of his own songs ‘Abyss, Awake, Tonight which or all a bit sad but wonderful. I might also recommend the following documentary about Jin whether you react to it or watch yourselves as it helps you understand what a truly remarkable young man he is and understand why he is doing so well in the Army. It is called BTS - the sad story of Jin who blamed himself after debut! Most documentaries of Jin or clips show the light side of Jin, this shows his struggles and hard work to be where he is today.
