Thank you. This last video had me almost leave the channel. Those pauses were ridiculous and I was making a final check before closing out my paetron. If we have access to uncut uploads I am happy to stay. I just find the # of pauses too excessive to enjoy the content. It is so distracting and not worth the time.

I saw them on a passing YouTube of James Cordon’s Carpool Karaoke, and thought, “Who are these guys? Wait, THEY are BTS???” I had heard their stuff without knowing it was them. My daughters mentioned them… but I was clueless!! Then I started going down as many rabbit holes as possible! So thank you for going back and forth. I need as much exposure as possible just to get up to speed! These guys are truly beyond, and am I so happy that their sacrifices, hard work, and positive attitude (especially toward all the undue criticism) have brilliantly paid off. “The Best [truly] Is Yet To Come.”

2023-01-12 01:11:28 +0000 UTCI don’t know how to leave links but PLEASE!!! before you leave this era check out the Bulletproof trailer…they do a cover of a song and record it from 3 different angles and post to YouTube themselves because they did a performance on a tv show and the show did not let the viewers see what all they were doin …even cut it short…if anyone knows what I’m talking about I would welcome the help 💜

2023-01-11 14:19:20 +0000 UTCThe gun sign thing they do with their hands is actually the sign for number ‘7’ it was their official greeting sign since debut, if you look closely its a number 7…..clever isn’t it how they did it :) They phased it out eventually as time went on and nowadays they tend to just greet the fans by saying “Bangtan” more often 💜

2023-01-10 18:56:51 +0000 UTCAs a 60 year old Aussie mum, I was already into second gen kpop when I came across these young guys purely by chance when one of their pre debut blogs caught my eye. I watched those blogs religiously, waiting for them to debut, hearing them even then speaking about their lives as trainees and just how hard they were working to debut. I have watched them grow and mature not only musically, but as people. For a lot of newer ARMY, seeing this, where they came from, is a bit of a shock. I was never really into the whole hip hop/rap scene, but it was their message that hit me. They spoke for a section of society that at the time had little voice. It was intriguing and the rest as they say is history. Its going to be so much fun watching you travel this road especially as it was their newer songs that you saw first. Wait until you get to Bulletproof the Eternal! - yes another Bulletproof!. A whole different vibe, but it will pay to watch all their other title MV’s to catch all the references in Eternal. Great reaction as always guys.

My introduction to bts was Boy with Luv, where they were all wearing pastel colors and Jimin and V had pink and blue hair!! It’s crazy to see how they begun. But also so interesting! It’s one of the things I love about BTS. They can do anything. Any genre, style, you name it and they will do it perfectly. And that’s because they work really hard since the process of making music, writing lyrics to the performances for the public. Top notch artists 😍

The second generation K-pop idols I would listen to and saw this MV, thinking what are these young boys trying to do, I was 59 y/o at the time, so I was not into Rapping or Hip Hop. But they were cuter then other groups, just by their delivery. I’m glad I kept and eye on them, as a mother would, glad for they’re change. I did learn along the way as it was a symbol I was really not in favor of is the Gun hand gesture. Which stands for BANGTAN meaning Bulletproof. I see it now days here and there. This was too short, should look into doing a couple of videos at a time, like you need to listen to We are Bulletproof : The Eternal. Very different vibe.

I think seeing all of it in the dance practice or live performance is even more impressive because it's clearly not a camera trick/editing, you know?

During this time, the members of kpop groups that are assigned a 'rapper' role aren't really rappers but just forced to rap because they can't sing. So Yoongi is calling them out cos unlike them, RM, Jhope, and him (esp rm and him) actually love hip hop and rap. They aren't 'filler members' but the exact opposite: the pillars of early BTS albums as they always write their own raps (insert nicki minaj's: RAPPERS WRITE THEIR OWN RAPS)

Agencies put that label on them. Suga has been rapping since he was a young teen. He's put in so much blood, sweat, and tears and even went against his parent's wishes to pursue music. So to call yourself a rapper when you're not one is an insult to true rappers. There are indeed generic rappers in K-pop.

There is a story the guys tell about Jimin flipping over J-Hope. J-Hope was afraid of doing this trick, and after lots of practice it was going to be JK Jimin flipped over, But Jimin said; " Hobie, we can do this, just close your eyes and trust me." J-hope shared Jimin was so sincere he trusted him and well, you see the result. There are also clips of this live that I think are even better! They practiced that trick so many times J-Hope's knees were bruised and bloody. They all look so different, trying to be hard -ass. The thing that shook me is Jin. He pulls it off even now that we know him. Jin makes a handsome tough guy and believable. Jin could switch from Idol to actor without a problem, you will see that as you travel through the BU. Good to see you back this AM. Summer that color looks so pretty on you! What fun you all are.
