It will be easier and less time-consuming, even if I can't integrate pictures directly into the report. So, back on track with the game! I burned out a little with the last update, but I'll try to keep these weekly now that I'm back at it. Progress will probably be slower. I used to think I needed to show two days' worth of work for the report to feel consistent, but it's really creating more problems for me in the end. Enough yapping, here's the work of the day! There are three background sketches. The first is Ms. Topaz's house, the last family to meet during the second in-game day! I can't wait to have all the characters done, even if I'm dreading a bit the fact that I need to completely redesign one character. Then, Ms. Mack's bathroom! Why would the bathroom in Ms. Mack's house need a sketch this early in production? Well, let's say that June may need to visit the bathroom at some point during the day, and maybe Ms. Mack could help. I really like this one. It's always fun to place babyish elements around to make the room feel lived-in. And finally, Alyssa's room at Ms. Topaz's. The background is still being worked on, and I didn't have time to finish it before posting. But there's also some extra... There's finally enough to add to the game budget to commission some art every month! These lovely sketches have been commissioned from Vaabs. Thanks a lot to them! They're the future movie posters that will be featured at the movie theater. See you next week for more updates!
