Overlord is the game series where you play as the villain, especially in the sequel as most of the choices you have there are either to enslave or to kill. In the first game you can be somewhat benevolent.

If you look at The Old Republic (the MMO) there are ways to play an absolute douche of a Jedi, or a rather noble Sith. KotOR itself had options to be both, especially how in every other interaction with Kreia you gain both Light Side and Dark Side points equally. Too bad this was never finished, since it could have been something truly special. And while this is mechanically a sequel to Pillars of Eternity, it is not a sequel as a story. Tyranny is its own thing, and Pillars of Eternity did get a sequel in the form of Avowed, which... well, just like Tyranny it's not what it could have been.
