I know exactly what you mean when you talk about "BlazBlue Elitists". We've had to deal with our fair share of them from other fandoms. When I was streaming Guilty Gear there'd always be the random person to hop in and tell me off for not playing a "real" Guilty Gear game like Xrd. That plus the occasional transphobe...
So no worries! It comes with the territory. Thanks for the heads up!

Something that was mentioned in this part is the “teach me miss Litchi” segments which are actually on YouTube but I’m not gonna lie they’re a little more rough around the edges and the quality of the videos don’t help so even though chronologically it comes first, I recommend checking out its sequel “help me professor Kokonoe” instead (and the entire series is also available to watch on YouTube) because it still does the same thing of giving you a better idea of each character’s personality - especially Kokonoe -while also just being overall entertaining and maybe doesn’t explain as much about the world as “teach me miss Litchi” but does sometimes connect to things that you may remember hearing about in the lore video.
Aside from that another possible next Blazblue reaction you can do is the gag reels but there’s a lot of them so I totally understand if you’d rather just get into the actual game and it might even make the gag reels funnier because at least off the top of my head I can think of one joke from a certain gag reel that is definitely more hilarious when you’ve played the game and hear similar things but now in a whole new context.
One last thing is that there are a couple of “Blazblue elitists” that for instance despise when people call bbtag a Blazblue game and stuff like that but I’m sure that you’ve dealt with enough of these kinds of people and won’t let their negativity get to you. Luckily nowadays they’re not as commonly seen probably because kind of how you mentioned in the video, they know that Blazblue is niche even amongst this niche genre and without any new things currently in the works for the franchise, fans have kind of chilled a bit and are more welcoming because they are just happy to see anyone come in and give their favorite franchise a shot.
