I like both of these episodes quite a bit. Gus's whole setup with the secondary house he actually lives in makes Walt's attempt at getting to him in Breaking Bad seem even more futile/funny in retrospect :). One thing I noticed for the first time on this viewing is that I think I know what made Gus suddenly pause at Los Pollos and look like he had a realization. It happened right after he told the customer about their new Spice Curls. The last time we saw him talking about those was at Madrigal in front of Peter Shuler, the person financing the lab. I think that's what made him think that maybe Lalo is looking for the location of the lab to give a reason for the rest of the Cartel to go after Gus. That is why he then has the little road trip to the lab and plants the gun there.

Therefore, when something that i never notice is brought to light and explained by you, i find it intriguing and entertaining to learn and understand something that i never would have even thought about if not for your personal input. Most episodes also have the other writers, directors, director of photography and sometimes actors. It aired after each episode and they take a deep dive. It’s not always about the story. 2024-12-18 04:17:23 +0000 UTCRemember that Hector told Lalo that he has to get proof before he goes after Gus. Trying to track down any leads or other information about the “North Wall” that Verner accidentally talked about on the phone would be the proof he needs. Then who knows his next move.
