2025-01-10 06:39:16 +0000 UTCKim for inexplicable reasons, is over the top protective of Jimmy. She dislikes Howard even more than Jimmy. She thinks a few of Howard's actions were excessively harmful and not necessary. I still think Jimmy's issues with Howard, have 100% to do with displaced anger that should have been leveled at Chuck. On the other hand, I think Kim despises Howard for being weak and doing Chuck's bidding. I think at the end of the day Howard is a decent guy who was crushed under Chuck's ego.

It's a complete inverse of the season 4 finale. Not to mention that image of Lalo looking at the glass confirming he knows of Nacho's betrayal, and that thunderbolt sound in the background as he marches forward, beginning his mission for revenge. This is a call back to when Jimmy dropped his mint chip ice cream cone as Nacho made him get in the car to go make a deal with Lalo. It's an allegory for Jimmy regretting getting involved with the cartel

Also because if you remember she has a bad history with him as well. Howard put Kim in doc review back in season 2 if you remember, as punishment for Jimmy airing that commercial at Davis and Main. I don't think she has liked him since

2024-12-04 12:00:21 +0000 UTCI don't think you're tripping about Howard, Mr. L. Boyd. He's just a very Type-A person, and he's being his authentic self whether people in the show like him or not. I think Jimmy tends view Howard as an extension of his brother--earnest, smacks of oak and tweed, well-heeled, sanctimonious or self-righteous at times, and the fact that Howard worshipped Chuck. I reckon Jimmy resents that about him. That's totally speculation, though.
