"Why do I know that... I don't know" that little self-reflection moment wqs comedy gold 😂😂😂

Ezekiel Jaramillo

"Bro! Unplug that thing!" lolol... You're the best, man. smh

bikeymoy

The sequel is a toss up for most people but if you give this an 8, you’ll like chapter 2. I think the humor alone will suit you. And don’t forget about Paul Bunyan.

Isaac

And, done... funny you should cap this off as a 'fresh take' on the genre. This is an adaptation of a novel by Stephen king, that he wrote in 1986.

Lenear Boyd

I have never, ever, ever heard anything to the effect of inverted-nipples correlating with breast-cancer. Ever... in any context. Oh, and yeah, men can get breast cancer. It's called breast cancer.

Bit late here but okay, Big Time digression. Hoo-boy, circumcision. Male circumcision, the 'cutting the tip of your d*ck' off (it's not that, it's removal of the foreskin), is an ancient practice mostly associated with the middle-east and cultures originating in that region. There's all kinds of mystical hoobajoob about the practice and it's importance among semetic cultures but it actually has a practical benefit. US soldiers stationed in Iraq who had not been circumcised complained about irritation in that area due to the foreskin trapping the fine sand particulates common in the region against the most sensitive portion of their manliness. Sexually, it's a mixed bag. There is a loss of nerve-endings when removing that portion of skin, some who've had it done as adults have noted a decrease in pleasure afterwards, others find the reduced sensation increases their 'endurance'. In modern parlance in hospitals, circumcision of infant babies is one of if the most common surgical procedures performed in hospitals in the US today. The practice originates in the 1800's as it was believed at the time it would dissuade the man-child from masturbating later in life, because it was believed to be not only a moral vice but that 'spilling the vital ether' would reduce one's lifespan. We learned better on that front, but millions of naïve young fathers (I know one of my friends was one) every day are told by doctors minutes after the child being born that their infant son will be prone to all manner of hideous infections unless they get in there Personally and clean their son's foreskin... daily... or they can just let the doctor do a little snip-snip there... which they will be billed for. Female Circumcision... dude, don't even joke about that. Female circumcision involves the complete removal of the outer vulva, the labia and the clitoris. The equivalent for a man would be to remove HALF of a man's penis, specifically the half at the end where all the sensitive portions are located. HALF. The most sensitive portions of a woman's genitalia isn't in that interior portion you enjoy imparting friction upon your genitalia, it's the parts on the outside that you think should be only as sensitive as your upper-arm. It's a practice that has been found to have no health benefits at-all and only serves to destroy any ability a woman would have to enjoy copulation and is an artifact of cultures where women's primary responsibility is seen as submitting to copulation for the purposes of providing offspring to the male head of the household. But yeah, male infant circumcision is bullshit. Your son's penis is not gonna become gangrenous and fall-off if you just leave it alone.

Please react to the Terrifier movies!!! They recently came out with a part 3.

itsRichErich

Not a fan of this adaptation and the weird racist choices with the only black character. It isn't that apparent unless you're familiar with the original, but he was supposed to be the historian of the group and the only one with a happy, healthy home life. Now his character arc is to learn to kill? 🤨

Teth

LOVED your reaction! Right before every gory scene with "viscous fluids", I would breathlessly await your reaction and you delivered evey time :) If you want to get really freaked out, the Pennywise smile is not fully CGI - check the Pennywise actor's interview on Conan where he shows how he did the smile. Without the face paint, it is even creepier: https://youtu.be/scIizw2asro?si=rr69PpBR-tBln3z7

The fact that you were for some odd reason recommended the (Renewed IT Movie) is strange. You would have 100% preferred the camera work and color angles in the original 1990 film which respectably has two parts, part two being mine and the majority of everyone's favorite part.!

SikxVenom

Make sure to watch IT Chapter 2 in the next week or two so you don’t forget much about the characters! I would have loved for you to react to the 90s miniseries version with Tim Curry. Maybe next year! 🎃

HeadShot223

first time watch for me and i gotta say this movie was just weird , not good not bad just weird

Samuel Avetisyan

Man mid sentence IS THAT A FIERO???

Marquis keel

Bring on IT Chapter 2! Sometime next year, they are going to release a series on HBO that is a prequel, showing the origin of Pennywise, called 'Welcome to Derry'.

Garrie Morris

In the book the ppl are so much worse the kid who had the homemade flamethrower smothered his lil brother when they were kids and he was the one who would shoot cats and he got Henry into it Henry just was the main bully the other kid was a far worse person

Marquis keel

Book is too thick to make into a single movie, also the actual sfx cost to make it would be astronomical, hence: this double bucks, as a movie and as an adaptation. Just my opinion.

Alejandro Guerra

Check out the Amityville horror from 1979 and the omen from 1976 if u haven't already seen them

Rashad Walker

Not sure if someone already said this, but cutting her hair short was intended to make her look less attractive or like a boy so that her dad would leave her alone.

Denise Mattsen

Completely unrelated but your discovery of Iron Maiden is incredible for me. First band I went to see Live at the age of 11 :D Truly a experience

Chris Robson

Annnnd we're done! Killer reaction Sir! I enjoy seeing how long it takes for you to "Get hooked" into horror films , as they are not your "main" genre. And it's always fun to see what jump scares get you. (LOVED the part in the garage w/the slide projector. lol) And yes , there is a Chapter 2 , I only hope you watch it much sooner than later , while everything is fresh. One thing to make sure to keep in mind , This is based on a Stephen King book that's about 1,153 pages. So even with 2 films , it was tough to do. But I still find it more faithful to the novel than not. IMHO Very excited to see what you think of Chapter 2 , and the story as a whole. Thanks as always Sir. Peace

Madmanmarz1981

I thought you were joking, so I checked........... I shouldn't have checked🫣

gak9319

Haven't you seen Shrek? True loves kiss breaks the curse😁

gak9319

Munchausen by proxy.

gak9319

Black kid' grandfather was okei, harsh but fair. These other parents though🫤

gak9319

🎶Doooon't youuuu, forget about meeee🎶

gak9319

I don't know man, if there was a person in your front yard and then there wasn't. You should probably be on the lookout for clowns, just in case🫣

gak9319

Well THIS is unexpected. And should be very interesting to see how Mr. B reacts to both parts. I've read the book , (many times) saw the miniseries , and these , and had fun with em all. Some quality work across the board with 1&2. With plenty of jump scares , and some damn good VFX work. Can't wait ta see how many time Mr B jumps BTW. LOL Checklist time - Edibles eaten - Check - fatties rolled - Check - beer cold - Check - smokes and Zippo - Check - Red I (heart) Derry balloon - Check. (Free promo items from the theater. Got a small bag of em.) Time ta go float with Georgie and the rest.... Peace

Madmanmarz1981

That forehead is a sniper' dream😅

gak9319

There is an It 2. This is a remake from the original which came out in the 80's. The lore of it is actually pretty interesting, but I think the movie was intentionally vague about what "it" is.

Hunter Sanschargrin

Definitely watch "The Thing (1982)", another adequately named movie. Best practical effects ever made in my opinion, there is also a modern prequel from 2013, but I suggest watching the original first.

Michal Kubán

The whole lore around the creature (It) and it's origins are absolutely unhinged, and it's a pretty interesting rabbithole if you ever have the time and inclination, Mr. L. Boyd. That said, there's some shit in the original novel that is beyond disturbing, and it doesn't have anything to do with the creature. IYKYK.

Jake Martin

Good ol' Stephen Cocaine King

Jeromy M

I love when Mr L Boyd says "I think this is a scary movie guys" LMFAOOO he's always caught off guard lol never knows it's a horror movie ahead of time

itsRichErich

Fun fact in the book instead of cutting they hand with the bottles they all took turns with Beverly 😵‍💫
